Guys? Something seems to be happening...

I'm a little worried, guys.

I seem to be living at grandma and grandpa's house. Ronon, Chaeli, and Basher are here too, along with mom. I watched mom clean out the apartment and put all our things into totes and a suitcase. We've collected kennels; two big, two small. Mom and I aren't spending nearly as much time at the clinic as we used to, and we're only going at strange hours during the day time.

Something big is happening, I think. I'm trying not to worry about it though.

Maybe if I go to sleep when I wake up everything will be back to normal?

Cha-cha-cha-CHANGES!

Turn and face the strange!

Have I mentioned that I like David Bowie? Well I do. :-)

Things are changing up here! The cool fall weather finally gave up the battle to the snow. SNOW. I'm delighted one minute, and then freezing the next. Mom says I still have to go outside to do my business, and no, I cant just sit on the porch and watch Connery and Basher go.

We're puppy sitting right now. Mom is in love, and I'm jealous. Her name is Hera, and she's a 5 month old German Shepherd puppy. She's actually a better puppy than Basher was, but I'm not telling HER that.

Quilla got adopted! Mom is ecstatic, and so am I! He was such an annoying dog, but now he's in a great home with a man who will love him and train him and take him to Kazakhstan with him. That's right! Quilla will be so far out of my hair he'll be across the ocean!

Mom got a new baby. He's really small right now and lives in an aquarium, but mom says that once he gets bigger he can graduate to a wire cage. He's a black hooded rat. He's pretty cute, and it's funny to watch the cats watch him. He's got an attitude too. He keeps taunting the cats. Mom hasn't named him yet. I'm not jealous of the rat. I keep wondering if he might be tasty, but then I feel guilty because mom would be very sad if I ate him.

I keep having to remind Basher about that.

I think the rat is taunting him too. His aquarium is right on top of Basher's kennel at the minute.

Mom got her car back from the shop, and boy was she happy! The roads are pretty scary right now, so she was driving really slow. She says we get to go up to grandma and grandpa's house tomorrow so grandpa can put the snow tyres on the car. Grandma is out of town, but I like to go over there anyway.

Grandma told mom that grandpa had to euthanize one of their sled dogs. I didn't know Bruce well, but he was a good dog, according to mom and grandma. May he rest in peace.

Mom is Sick.

I'm super bored right now. Mom is sick, so we're all stuck in the house for the most part. She's coughing and sounds terrible, but the cats won't let me on the bed to snuggle with her.

We did get to go for a car ride out to North Pole today. Just me, mom, and Basher. We went to North Pole Vet, where I didn't even have to get out of the car!!

But Basher did. Haha.

It was only routine vaccinations though, so I had to deal with him again on the ride home. Kinda wish mom would have maybe forgotten him there. I joke, really.

We still have Quilla, much to our annoyance. But there's more interest in him, so maybe he'll go away soon, and then it will just be us and mom. I hope so.

I still miss Dempsey a lot. We go to the dog park, and I always hope I'm going to see him, then I remember that he's moved away. I hope everything is going ok for him down in the big city.

My Name Is Trance...

I may look like a dog,

But I'm not.

I'm a human. I just have a condition.

My best friend Dempsey is moving away to become a New Yorker. I'm going to miss him. He told Basher (my annoying little not-brother) what's what, and Bash would actually listen to him. He never listens to me.

My other house-mate, Connery, is ok. He can be a little annoying too, but only I get the front seat in the car.

Mom does Cattle Dog Rescue. We're fostering a dog named Quilla (that's short for Taquilla). He's Basher's older brother. Litter the year before his, I guess. He's even more annoying than Basher is.

They're all such DOGS.

The cats treat me pretty well. All three of them. Well, Reddy's kinda mean, but she's sixteen, so mom says she can get away with it. Wash and Chaeli (that's pronounced Kaylee) both like to snuggle with me, so that's good.

All in all, I have a pretty good life here.

Now if only I had thumbs, maybe people would start treating me like the human I am.
